B.E.S.T. Animal Rescue Team

    B.E.S.T. Animal Rescue Staff

Welcome to BLUE EXOTICA SPECIALISTS TEAM Rescue

At B.E.S.T. our animal rescuers are range of individual, volunteer, or professional who intervenes to save animals from dangerous, cruel, or unhealthy living conditions, providing care, rehabilitation, and placement in new homes or safe environments. Their work can involve domesticated pets, like those found in shelters, or wild animals needing medical attention and release back into the wild. Rescuers engage in various tasks such as providing first aid, documenting animal conditions for veterinarians, educating the public, and fostering a sense of independence in wildlife for their eventual survival.
Key responsibilities of an animal rescuer:
    • Rescuing animals:
Taking action to free animals from abusive, neglectful, or hazardous situations.
    • Rehabilitation:
Providing necessary medical care, food, and shelter for animals to recover from injuries or poor conditions.
    • Rehoming:
For domestic animals, finding suitable new homes and families for them to live with.
    • Wildlife care:
For wild animals, preparing them to be independent and self-sufficient so they can be released into their natural habitats.
    • Education and advocacy:
Informing the public about animal welfare issues, responsible pet ownership, and advocating for improved animal protection policies.
    • Documentation and reporting:
Keeping records of animal conditions and reporting cases of animal cruelty to appropriate authorities.
    Types of animal rescuers:
    • Volunteers:
Many rescuers work as unpaid volunteers for animal rescue organizations, giving their time to care for animals.
    • Professionals:
Others work as paid employees in roles like animal control officers, wildlife rehabilitators, veterinary technicians, or animal shelter attendants.
    • Specialists:
Some focus on particular areas, such as rescuing purebred dogs through breed-specific groups, or caring for large wild animals.
    How they help:
    • Saving lives:
By intervening in dangerous situations, rescuers prevent animals from suffering further.
    • Promoting adoption:
They help connect rescued domestic animals with loving families.
    • Restoring wildlife:
Rescuers give injured or orphaned wild animals a chance to recover and return to their ecosystems.
    • Preventing harm:
Through public awareness, they aim to reduce instances of animal cruelty, abandonment, and other threats to animal welfare.
